Huff Bagelry, Mentone

This morning we ventured to Mentone to partake in some delicious bagels and coffee. I have been here a couple of times previously and rate their coffee (and bagels too of course!).

It is a really decent sized cafe with a trendy vibe, definitely a popular spot. We visited around 11am and they were crazy busy.

We ordered take-away since the place was pumping and our coffee's came out reasonably quick but we would have waited almost 20 mins for our bagels. Note to self: come earlier on a Sunday to beat the crowd.

I also loved their tip jar, which if you are a fellow Harry Potter fan you will also find amusing...

I would definitely give this place two thumbs up but would caution trying to time your visit at a less hectic time of the day unless you don't mind waiting for a while. This was made even longer in our case as our kids have little to no patience and I had to listen to them whinge about how long it was taking.

A large coffee will set you back $4.50 here.

Also had to include a gratuitous shot of my bagel, so delish. It was a late brekky so I went with your standard bacon & egg.

An honourable mention - I love all of Huff's packaging/branding...so on point and well executed.

So there you have it, if you love coffee and bagels then this is the place for you. The two don't have to go exclusively hand in hand, I would stop by just for a take-away coffee as well.
