Fresh Start, New Vibe

Hello, long time no speak…

For those that don’t know I previously had a blog by the name of Pretty Paper and Coffee. It was rather neglected towards the end and so I didn’t bother renewing it when the time came as I just didn’t have the time to dedicate to it. I believe some strange Asian company selling some sort of baldness cure has taken over the domain, ha…totally relevant.

So since this is the first official blog post allow me to introduce myself, my name is Keshena. Aside from being a wife and mother (which let’s be honest, takes up majority of my time) I am also a crafty creative type. I’m certainly not the most talented person out there but I think I go ok ;)

My interests are varied and as you can probably tell from the blog name I am a big lover of coffee and discovering new cool cafes that make a good cup of coffee. I am pretty spoilt for choice in my new location of Melbourne and look forward to exploring and trying new places.

I am also an advocate for snail mail, which in old school terms is just writing a good ol’ fashioned letter and mailing it in the post. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you like, my style varies depending on my mood and whether I have time. There are some incredibly talented people in the community which I hope to shine a light on.

I dabble in bullet journaling and using a planner but probably don’t use either system as efficiently as I could, again there are some crazy talented people within the planner community. I use Instagram a lot for following the accounts of people that inspire me.

I have my own Etsy store called Binky Bop Inc where I sell cute polymer clay charms that I make, I plan on trying to spend more time on that this year and maybe even attend my first market. I would love any suggestions or feedback on what sort of charms you would like to see/potentially buy. That kind of feedback is invaluable and would always be welcome.

Last but not least, I think I am going to try and dip my toe back in to the project life pond, it’s been awhile but for the short time I did do it I really enjoy looking back on that album. Very rarely do we print photos out these days and they just sit on the computer and are seldom looked at, it’s a bit sad really.

Anything else is a bonus, there are no rules. This is a space for me to share whatever I am working on in the hopes that maybe I will be lucky enough to inspire you. Also, don’t be a stranger…I love to communicate and would love it if you ask questions or leave a comment. Let me know if there is a certain type of content or craft you would want to see, I’ll see what I can do.
